My laptop died..
This is gonna be a quick post. I'm tired. It's 3 AM. I'm done.
So, recap: Closed my laptop, broken hinge caused the case and motherboard to go up, but the un-broken hinge caused it to go down on the other side, making it bend, which makes tiny microscopic cracks, meanin the laptop is done.
In attempts to save it, I am doing one of the stupidest things I have ever done with a piece of tech in my whole LIFE. Will it work? Nah. Is it worth a shot? Nah. Am I doing it anyways? Duh.
What I have done is taken inspiration from RRoD' Xbox 360s and put a blanket around the laptop, and then my macbook on top of the laptop, causing the heat to transfer and maybe melt and resolidify some traces/solder. Again this is dumb. Never do this. Ever.
UPDATE: Yeah that was stupid. Heat wouldn't even transfer. I give up.. Rip my laptop. 3:
